Eclipse members will meet again over four days at the end of August, with the following two aims:
A. To clarify and agree the future purpose of Eclipse
B. To understand how the various working groups (or committees) will continue in relation to this future purpose.
Although this gathering will by nature be more inward-looking and technically-focused than the previous event, we’re confident that if we can resolve these organisational kinks – including the tensions between structure and structurelessness – then this network will be well-placed to both grow into increasing relevance, and also distribute practical mutual aid and real co-ordination across the movement.
Registration forms are already in circulation to groups previously invited or involved, but feel free to email us at wearetheeclipse[at]riseup.net if you’re interested in being involved, and let us know what you or your organisation can offer. We can’t yet offer guarantees that everyone will be invited to this gathering, but we’ll consider all such expressions of interest on a case-by-case basis.
